The Aparthotel Krone in Zell am See, with the scenic Kitzsteinhorn mountain range in the background, offers its guests comfort and recreation in a family atmosphere. We offer a small but nice relaxation area with various saunas, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a sunbathing lawn. Our hotel has only 40 guest beds in comfortable and quiet rooms and apartments. The lake and the mountain lifts are only a few minutes’ walk away. In summer we also offer bikes to hire.

Wintertime: The extensive facilities of the Schmittenhöhe region guarantee winter fun and recreation in a landscape covered in deep snow. A ski school, the Areit cable car (to the Schmittenhöhe) and the ski bus stop to the Kitzsteinhorn (glacier skiing) are only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Many kilometres of cross-country ski runs and the frozen-over Lake Zell offer opportunities for cross-country skiing and ice-skating. Summertime: Summer in Zell am See means spending your vacation in one of the most attractive sceneries of Austria. Mountains which offer everything between casual hiking and extreme climbing, a clean lake offering all varieties of water sports, beautiful promenades, hiking and biking trails - all this can be found right at our doorstep.

We offer you a rich breakfast buffet between 07:30 and 10:00. In our lobby you will find a self-service bar from which you can take drinks 24 hours a day.
