Our luxury Vienna Hotel is part of the city like the Opera House, the Prater ferry wheel, the Fiaker horse carriages and the Lipizzaner horses. The Hotel Sacher Wien was opened in 1876 by Eduard Sacher, son of the creator of the Original Sacher-Torte, and soon achieved worldwide renown as a meeting place for the nobility as well as for prominent politicians and artists.
