The small, independently-run Hotel Am Schottenpoint is situated close to the centre of Vienna, in the university quarter, within walking distance of some of the city's most popular attractions. From the hotel's modern, renovated and quiet rooms you can easily explore the whole of the city using nearby public transport connections. Arrival from the airport: Take the S7 S-Bahn to Wien-Mitte/Landstraße. Then take the U4 underground line to Schottenring. Then take the U2 underground line to Schottentor/Universität. You are now a 2 minute walk from the hotel or you can take tram number 38, 40, 41 or 42 to Schwarzspanierstraße. Arrival from the Westbahnhof: Take the U6 underground line to Währinger Straße/Volksoper. Then take tram number 40, 41 or 42 to Schwarzspanierstraße. Arrival from the Südbahnhof: Take tram D towards Nussdorf, alighting at Schottentor/Universität. You are now a 2 minute walk from the hotel or you can take tram number 38, 40, 41 or 42 to Schwarzspanierstraße.
