Drei Kronen Hotel City - Vienna

This cosy and charming 3-star hotel offers an excellent location in the centre of Vienna, in the immediate vicinity of the State Opera, the Naschmarkt and the Ringstraße. Built in 1897 by the Art Nouveau architect Ignaz Drapala, the Drei Kronen Hotel City was renovated in 2006 and offers modern and comfortable rooms, a tasty breakfast buffet and free wireless internet. Many sights such as the Hofburg Imperial Palace and the Albertina Museum are just a few minutes’ walk away. Vienna’s most famous shopping streets, the Mariahilfer Straße and the Kärntner Straße, are also close by. A bus stop is only a few metres away. The Karlsplatz underground station, with 3 lines taking you to every corner of the city quickly and easily, can be reached in a 5-minute walk from Drei Kronen Hotel City.

From the airport: Take the City Airport Train (CAT) or the train to Wien-Mitte/Landstraße, then the U4 underground line to Karlsplatz. Take the exit “Wiedner Hauptstraße”. 5-minute walk to the hotel. From the Western Train Station (Westbahnhof): Take the U6 to Längenfeldgasse and then the U4 to Karlsplatz. From the Southern Train Station (Südbahnhof): Take the tram line D to the Opera and then the bus line 59A to Schleifmühlgasse (2 stops).

In the morning a rich Viennese breakfast buffet awaits you between 07:00 to 10:00. Right next to the hotel you will find the Naschmarkt, a big open-air market with a wide variety of restaurants and delicacies from all over the world. Many other restaurants, bars and cafés can be reached in a 5- to 10-minute walk.
