A rustic cellar offers additional opportunities for entertainment and companionable get-togethers. This is also a fun place for children, with opportunities for the little ones to play and also for the bigger ones to enjoy games; a PlayStation 2 is available on a complimentary basis. There is also free wireless LAN access in the hotel hall.

Summer: A summer holiday in Seefeld is bursting with activities. For Hotel Cristallago guests the proximity of the Wildsee proves to be a special attraction for shorter walks or more extended rambles, as well as for swimming and sunbathing. For our more adventurous guests, there is an extensive net of walking and cycling paths, which covers all of the uplands with its alpine pastures, forests and mountain trails. The offer will please everyone from easy-going walking to challenging sports levels. You will find the new Nordic Walking Trails – a most popular activity – or taking a leisurely walk across the sunny Seefeld plateau, enable you to discover its beauty at your own preferred pace. Golf lovers are well served in Seefeld. It boasts a newly renovated and extended links at the Golf Club Golfacademy Seefeld, where one can play an 18 hole course set in a wonderful landscape. This club is virtually adjoining our property and non-golfers do enjoy spectacular views from the hotel over the links. There is a second golf course, another 18 hole links, in Wildmoos, renowned for being most challenging in a breathtaking setting. This is also fairly easily accessible - a short ride from the hotel. Seefeld’s location, well served by road and rail, makes it very easy to explore landscape and enjoy sightseeing. Many guests take the picturesque ride by railway to Innsbruck, which also offers theatre and concerts, or across the German border at Mittenwald. Others again choose from the plentiful offers of daytrips by coach and take excursions like to Castle Linderhof or Mad King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein, etc. Winter: You can be sure that the snow-safe slopes are all excellently prepared, ideal for a family holiday. The Geigenbühel run is perfect for beginners and children, the Gschwandtkopf an enjoyable run for the average skier and those who look for challenges venture to the Rosshütte skiing area. Seefeld offers an exceptionally beautiful and extensive net of cross-country ski runs. These are the runs where the Olympic Nordic competitions were held in 1964 and 1976. There is a special cross-country skiing school. There are some 260 km of runs for you to explore and enjoy, with one of the runs right next to Hotel Cristallago – it is a wonderful way to enjoy the fabulous winter landscape in a sportive manner. Winter walks are a pleasurable pastime for the holiday maker. Seefeld offers many efficiently prepared routes for walking, where you can enjoy outings in the romantic winter landscape without special equipment. Excursions with snow-shoes have been re-discovered and you can obtain the equipment – as for all the manifold sports Seefeld offers – in hire shops. Just like in the summer, guests can avail themselves of transport to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Non-skiers may enjoy trips by cable car to the Rosshütte at 1751m to take in the spectacular winter panorama of the Karwendel and Mieminger mountains. Deckchairs and blankets are available for sun-worshippers.

Footway: Follow the way “Bahnhofstraße” from the train station until the crossroads. When you see on your right handside the center take the street “Innsbruckerstrasse” on the left handside and follow the street ca. 5 minutes until you arrive to Hotel Cristallago opposite the lake. Drive: Coming from Innsbruck on the motorway A12 follow direction Garmisch. Take the exit “Zirl Ost – Garmisch – Seefeld”, follow the street, after ca. 5 km take the exit Seefeld-Süd and you will arrive to the Innsbruckerstraße directly beside the lake. We are the first hotel on the right hand side. Pck-Up-Service: Should you travel by train, please advise us well in advance of your time of arrival. We are happy to meet you at the Seefeld train station and take you free of charge to the hotel. For the transfers from and to Innsbruck, we have to charge a small disbursement fee.

Breakfast: The day begins with a generous breakfast buffet, so that you are set up, fit and strong, for the enjoyments of the day. Dinner: Culinary delicacies are served in our dining room, which is a mixture of the agreeable Tirolese style and timeless elegance. In the evening there is a set three course meal, with a choice of the entrée, and a salad bar, freshly prepared every day. We are certainly happy to accommodate occasional special wishes and know that children sometimes have different needs; special consideration is also given with regard to special diets/allergies. Bar: A small cosy bar with comfortable seating in the entrance hall invites you to stay, relax with an interesting book from our free lending library, the latest daily papers or just use the opportunity of meeting others, perhaps over a good glass of wine.

ATTENTION - IMPORTANT!! Please don't forget to buy a Vignette and to stick it on your car window before using the motor ways in Austria. Pets: We are also happy to welcome your four-legged friends against the small daily service charge of €7 and do expect you to make arrangements to feed him/her.
