Hotel Belmondo - Salzburg

This hotel, opened in 2005, is situated near the centre of Mozart's birthplace, Salzburg, just a 10 minute walk along the Salzach from the historical Old Town. After a pleasant night's sleep in one of the hotel's 39 modern rooms you can start your day with a hearty breakfast buffet. The breakfast room, with terrace, situated on the 5th floor, offers wonderful views of the historical basilica of Maria Plain. In the summer you can sit outside and bask in the sun. In the cosy hotel lobby you can enjoy a glass of Austrian wine or a cup of coffee. There is a fine Italian restaurant next to the hotel.

The Hotel Belmondo is located a pleasant 10-minute walk along the banks of the Salzach river to the historical city centre of Salzburg. Schloss Mirabell (500 metres) - Just 5 minutes walk away is this palace whose lovely grounds were used in the filming of 'The Sound of Music'. Bad und Kurhaus Paracelsus (400 metres) - visit this famous old spa, only a 5-minute walk away. Hohensalzburg Fortress (1.5 km) - Climb the hill or take the funicular railway up to this castle which offers fantastic views over Salzburg and the surrounding Alps.

By Car: - Leave the A1 motorway at the Salzburg Mitte exit. - Continue straight ahead for around 2 km. - After you pass the Lehener Bridge you will see the hotel on the left-hand side. - You can stop for a short while in front of the hotel while you unloading the luggage. Parking: A few hotel parking spaces are available for EUR 8 per day. You can also park in a nearby public garage for about EUR 8 per day. By Train: The hotel is a short taxi ride from the station. You can also take bus number 2 (to the St. Julien-Strasse stop) or make the 15-minute journey on foot. Turn left out of the station onto Rainerstrasse, then right onto St. Julien-Strasse where the hotel is located. By Air: The hotel is a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. You can also take bus number 2 (to the St. Julien-Strasse stop).

A delicious breakfast buffet is served from 07:00-10:00 Austrian wine and coffee are available in the lobby.

At earlier departure the total amount of the booking will be charged by the hotel. Pets are allowed on request and have to be mentioned in the reservation. € 8,- will be charged per day.
