Built in 1838, the villa was a society meeting point of its time. In 1990 it was renovated with love and care, then again twice in 2006. By Car from Munich approx. 2 hours from Salzburg approx. 1 hour: South on the Tauern Autobahn (motorway) to Bischofshofen, Gasteinertal exit, then highway B 167 to the Gastein Valley. from Innsbruck approx. 2 hours: Autobahn via Wörgl, highway B 312 via St.Johann/Tirol to Lofer, B 311 via Zell am See to Lend, B 167 to Gastein or on the autobahn via Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, Gasteinertal exit, B 167 to the Gastein Valley. Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00. Lutter & Wegner Bad Gastein is the first flagship of the famous Berlin Weinhaus, established in 1811. The restaurant is located in the cellars of Villa Solitude and offers a beautiful view over Bad Gastein's waterfall. As it always has, the hotel serves you an excellent selection of wines and a daily changing menu with local dishes.
